The α99 is the new flagship model of the Sony Alpha A-mount lineup and features a 24.3-effective megapixel (approximately) 35 mm full-frame image sensor in addition to Translucent Mirror Technology. MULTI-FRAME NR the camera captures six images in a fraction of a second and combines the data from all six to create a single image with reduced noise for incredible low-light shooting without a flash.
WORLD’S FIRST 19-POINT DUAL AF SYSTEM10 is complemented by a multi-point focal plane phase-detection AF sensor with 102 AF points that takes advantage of Translucent Mirror Technology that simultaneously directs light to the image sensor and AF sensor at all times.
NEW AF-D MODE4 highly advanced Continuous AF mode uses continues to accurately focus on the subject whether the subject is moving in depth or plane direction.
AF RANGE CONTROL allows users to set the range of distance from the camera in which subjects can be focused on, preventing unwanted focusing on foreground and background objects.

XGA OLED VIEWFINDER reduces motion blur and delivers real-time results in superb color and detail, even after sunset.
